Lord, Teach Us to Pray (a media book on the Lord’s Prayer)

Here’s a new book that I’m particularly excited about: Lord, Teach Us to Pray, with Video Footnotes.

The text is Martin Luther’s explanation of the Lord’s Prayer (from the Large Catechism), and each page has a link to a video study of that page, a video footnote.

I’ve been thinking about this project for years, and I’m really excited to put this in your hands.

  1. This is so great! I have not read enough Luther – he is engaging, devout, articulate and so very genuine. This book makes his writing approachable; and is such a refreshing way to re-engage with what I learned 35 years ago in catechism class. I have been reading each chapter then going back to watch the videos which then reinforce what I read. The book is nicely formatted with easy to read font, clear spacing and generous margins for notes. The QR code link makes the whole study like a little treasure hunt, and the videos are perfect little nuggets of content for thought and meditation. I sincerely hope Rev Wolfmueller puts more of these together!
