Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
    For His mercy endures forever.
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish
   but have everlasting life.

Heavenly Father, we thank You on this day for the birth of Your only-begotten, our Lord Jesus Christ,
Wrapped in our flesh and blood,
   Covered in our sins,
Hidden in the tomb and raised for our justification,
Given for us and our salvation,
Grant us joy in the free gift of
      Forgiveness,
      Life, and
      Salvation that He brings.

Come, Lord Jesus, be our guest,
And let these gifts to us be blessed.

Heavenly Father, grant that our giving and receiving of gifts would be filled with joy.|
   Bless the gifts and givers.
   Expand our generosity and thankfulness.
Make the unwrapping of these gifts remind us of the mysteries of the faith revealed in Christ.

Come, Lord Jesus, be our guest,
And let these gifts to us be blessed.

Heavenly Father,
Grant us Your Holy Spirit so that we would receive all things as good gifts from Your fatherly care,
   Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Come, Lord Jesus, be our guest,
And let these gifts to us be blessed. Amen.

All may sing Joy to the World (1, 3):

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
far as the curse is found,
far as the curse is found,
far as, far as the curse is found.
