  2. I have a friend who secretly baptized her grandchild, as the mother is not willing to have it done. My friend is concerned that, if the mother should change her mind, would it be wrong to let the child be baptized by the pastor, without revealing what she had done. Needless to say, revealing the secret baptism would antagonize the mother.
