  1. It breaks my heart as well to see the where the ELCA has changed so much. We are retired military and have been members in several Misssourri synod churches and came home to ELCA. It’s just not the same. We had a conservative pastor and he retired. The new pastor is not conservative Lutheran and his wife is in instruction to become a Pastor. My husband and myself just this summer left my family church to become members of a Lutheran Church Missourri Synod congregation. I wish them no ill will. I pray that eyes will be opened and Gods truth be told. Amen
