  1. The issue in some churches is that having a cyclical church year mimics pagan practices and illustrates the humdrum nature of life going in circles. Much better they think to live linerally where you have a starting point and look neither to the left or right but keep the eye on the finish line. Coming from all that I’ve learned to love the church year especially, as was mentioned, the way it incorporates so much of the Bible in each service It is a true blessing. Selah.
