Martin Luther’s Large Catechism is a goldmine of Biblical wisdom. Luther teaches through the five most important Biblical topics, including the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. His teaching is practical and profound.
For generations, the Large Catechism has served as a handbook for pastors teaching the Small Catechism. Luther intended it to be used by parents (especially fathers) for the same purpose.
The text for this Large Catechism is taken from the Concordia Triglotta, published in 1921. (Book is digest size, 190 pages.)
