Catechism Retreat
Each summer a band of pastors and students of the catechism gather at Lutheran Valley Retreat for the annual Catechism Retreat.
The retreat includes daily study of God’s Word, Matins and Campfire Vespers, outdoor adventure, and play, lots of play (including the world’s greatest contest of strength, wit, and skill: Catechism Commando).
2026 Information
Date: Monday, June 15-Thursday, June 18, 2026
Theme: The Apostles’ Creed
Who: Students ages 10-18 (most retreaters are 11-14)
Cost: $370 per retreater (includes room and board, all camp activities and materials. Extra spending money is suggested for snacks and souvenirs.) (Pastor and chaperone cost: $200)
